Laleh Motlagh لاله مطلق (b. Tabriz, Iran) is a Chicago-based artist and educator whose practice investigates geopolitical and environmental landscapes through lived experience, prolonged observation, and care as a critical method of inquiry. Her work has been exhibited at institutions including Museo Universitario del Chopo (Mexico City), EXPO Chicago, the Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts, Chicago Artists Coalition, KHB Studios (Berlin), and Gallery 400 (Chicago), among others. She received her MFA from the University of Illinois Chicago.
