Through a series of typographically driven designs, Faust reclaims the American flag while treating it as a canvas for collective beliefs. The series comprises 12 transparent, double-layered flags featuring rainbow-stitched stripes, and 24 paired tenets that define and reflect patriotism to Faust: the values we teach our children, and who we aspire to be as a country.

Organized around the “ways” forward and the “means” by which to get there, Faust transforms one of the most recognizable symbols of the nation into a platform for reflection, dialogue, and civic participation.
