Founded in 2005, the Chinese American Museum of Chicago (CAMOC) is a dynamic arts & cultural center in Chicago’s Chinatown. The only Chinese American museum in the Midwest, CAMOC’s exhibitions and programs expand the visual language that shapes identity. Since 2022, the museum’s Spotlight Series has been a platform for contemporary and experimental art featuring artists based in Chicago and the Midwest from across the Chinese diaspora.

Through a dynamic curatorial program, exhibitions, research, and partnerships throughout the city of Chicago, CAMOC fosters intergenerational, intercontinental dialogue to expand the historical record and our understanding of the Chinese American experience.
