In its 13th year, The Franklin is a uniquely designed, gazebo-style project space run by artists that showcases and celebrates the work of artists and cultural workers. It aims to connect with the East Garfield Park and Humboldt Park communities through exhibitions and events. Located in the backyard of Edra Soto and Dan Sullivan’s home, The Franklin also features The Franklin Collection, housed in Dan and Edra’s house and accessible during opening hours. The collection includes more than 100 artworks acquired through exchanges and purchases from artist-run and nonprofit organizations, highlighting their love and support for artist-led culture.
